I have had lots of Asian food especially Chinese and Cantonese and I will say that there is nothing authentic about the dim sum here. I am Asian and have lived in big cities around the world including Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, London, NY, DC and now Philly. The Singapore maifun was ok but not great - greasy and lots of tumeric! We were hungry and tired after walking for 3 hours and the only redeeming factor for the lacklustre quality of the food was the dipping sauce! The waiting staff were abrupt, bathroom was filthy and general cleaniness of the restaurant was sub standard. The pork buns were rubbery tough on the outside and the filling were hot - obvious they had been reheated in a microwave for way too long! The scallion pancakes were deep fried flour without any scallions and very chewy.The chicken soup dumplings had hardly any soup in them and the skin was thick and doughy. We ordered chicken soup dumplings, roast pork buns, scallion pancakes and Singapore maifun. We had lunch here on Thursday at about 12:30pm and was seated as soon as we arrived.
